My First Stab at Blogging

This is my first stab at blogging, but the diamond and jewelry industry needs some change if it is going to remain healthy. As the technology of diamond grading increases the quality that is available to consumers, it decreases the profit margins for sellers. The profit squeeze is getting so tight that only a few jewelers will be able to flourish in the current market, so this will be a record of my findings as I search for answers for the trade and consumers.

I plan to post the most pertinent questions from consumers here, with my thoughts on each subject that comes up. And I will address issues as they hit the industry news. Should be fun if nothing else!

Also, I will help promote the best websites and blogs I find on important diamond related issues, to help everyone find the resources they need to find good deals, or offer them.
